When I remove Equalizer APO from A1 the audio is clear, no distortion. Switch them all on and add a Preamplification filter to modify the peak gain value. Also, rebooting changes the state of my machine, especially in terms of applications and services running and their state before and after rebooting. Switch that one off as well and add a Peaking filter. Is there a way to disable / enable Equalizer APO without having to reboot I'm trying to troubleshoot an audio issue and having to uninstall / reinstall / reboot Equalizer APO is a real headache. Then, switch off the filter and add a High-shelf filter. For instance, Equalizer APO is working on 96 kHz 24 bits and VoiceMeeter is processing the A output on another frequency, in my case 48 kHz. See what happens with the graph and the peak gain value, and listen to the effect of your changes.

By my understanding every setting that can be made through the Windows GUI can somehow also be made through Batch / Registry, is that right?Īny other solution suggestions that would help me with my problem are also appreciated. Im not sure whats going on but its definitely a sample frequency incompatibility as I wrote in my other post. I know this is a very specific question but it really bugs me if it's possible or not. Whenever I close my game again I would press another keybind that executes a script to toggle the setting to on -> All audio enhancements disabled -> No EQ -> normal audio without any changes for music, movies etc. So whenever I would start a game I would press some keybind that executes the script to toggle the setting to off -> No / less bass enabled for gaming If they show up unchecked, then attach it to that audio device and see if that helps. Try plugging the headphones in and running the Configurator. Equalizer APO needs to be assigned to devices in the configurator. Remove: Removes the selected plugin from the list of known.

It's probably from the headphones disconnecting and reconnecting. 50GHz / 16GB Ram / Emu 1212m Sound Card / Ati Radeon HD5400 Series G/Card. Because enabling this option also removes the changes made by the EQ and therefore returns to no adjustment at all, which is what I want when not playing. I'm using Equalizer APO with a USB-C sound device. I opened the Sound properties, checked my devies, but I saw nothing related to Equalizer APO, there is nothing in the UI under Advanced, neither to activate nor to lounch the Eq. So now my question is, is it possible to enable the "Disable all audio enhancements" function in the Properties of the Sound device via CMD / BATCH / VB? Because a possible solution I thought of was writing a script that can alter this setting through registry / batch or similar. Otherwise I would've just wrote me a macro that starts the EQ whenever I want. The thing is, the EQ writes changes into the registry as far as I understood and therefore doesn't need to be started for the effects to be active. However when I'm starting a game (like CSGO) I want it to get active.īackground is that I'm using the EQ to turn down my bass so I can hear positional audio much better.

When I'm using Windows normally I don't want it to be active.

I'm using the Freeware "Equalizer APO" to adjust the sound on my system.
